This is me, I work on the web.
I was once a photographer and although I loved technology, I was suspicious of computers and preferred the analogue world. When I discovered that I could create photocomposites digitally without a monstrous editing suite, I got my first computer, and a hacked Photoshop (v2.5 since you ask) and fell in love with the possibilities. This was just as the first blistering fast 28k modems came out and I got one to sign up to a compuserve account and ventured out into the unknown.
That was when the world changed for me, when I could communicate with anyone, easily, and personally. I am as passionate now as I was then, in '95, and occasionally, although nowhere near enough, write about my love for it at typingthevoid.com
Since then I have been a Designer, Developer, Flash Animator and Action Scripter, Database, Lead Developer, Designer, WordPress Developer, LAMP Evangelist, Standards Advocate, Technical Director, Information Architect, Project Manager, Producer, User Experience Designer and Lead and general dogs-body to anyone who wanted to know more about the internet.
Passionate, opinionated and obnoxious about "getting it right", and certainly open to making the od mistake myself, I am very honoured to have come into this massively transitional time in the history of human communications. If you see a comment from wheelyweb, it's likely to be me.
