I work on the web. I'm 23 years old and live on the Gold Coast.

I have programmed PHP for nearly 6 years and am touching into other languages. I like coding from ground up as I can be in complete control of the application at hand.

I love programming javascript, despite if being very frustrating at times. I wrote my thesis on comet style pushing webservices and their affect on server performance under high loads. I have been out of uni for a year now and am working in a small web company in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast.

I'm trying to get into the online web community but aren't really sure where to start as most people seem to program RoR.
