I work on the web.

I started out my love/hate relationship with technology by playing around with an Atari 2600 and an IBM XT. My achievements were winning Ice Hockey against the computer by 14 goals and bugging Tetris so you couldn't get past the 2nd level.

After uni, I started doing work experience in a few places and was lucky enough to learn from some awesome developers in Perth, that I will be forever grateful to for giving me a chance and basically, a clue as to whats going on. After moving from Work Experience Grunt I got promoted to CSS guy, and ran a busy website maintenance department. I would love to learn more codey stuff, and try to leech as much information as I can from anyone willing to show me anything, unless its design, because, I am not only partially colour blind, I am not creative and have no patience for making pretty things.

In my spare time(ie time thats not entirely on the computer) I love to play music, watch cartoons, have a few drinks or do some fightin'.

I let down my formidable defences this year to try and get more into the social side of the web industry, and its really helped me learn some new crazy things I wouldn't have ever thought about, meet some great people and... well.. get drunk with said people. I think it's really important to get into this aspect because it keeps the industry on its proverbial toes. With everyone talking about new things all the time, people try it out and try to better their own stuff. If these trends continue.... ayyyyyyyy!!!
