This is me, and I work on the web.
The web is a wild, wonderful, and wibbley place and the joy I get from it is seeing and experiencing the hard work and concretion of the ideas and inspiration of passionate people.
My working on the web had been a mixed bag to start with, but has settled into a busy, stressful, demanding and utterly delightful career.
It wasn't till I left university, and my soul destroying job as a sysadmin in Dublin, and came to Sydney that I decided to make the long over due leap into web work.
Serendipity came my way and I met some awesome people who recognised my insane curiosity, my obsession with all things geeky and my Irish inherent tenacity.
After working for a complete cowboy and fearing expulsion from the country, I've finally found myself in an environment and team where ideas are rich, adventurous, and darn right fun.
Now I'm a software developer specialised in PHP and love to dabble and implement webservice frameworks.
I'd be lost in the real world without the world online.
