Danielle Szetho
This is me, and I too work on the web.
I am the art director for Foxsports.com.au and I love my Job. I'm also the co-founder of Design studio Binalogue - we use what we know about making stuff for the web to make visuals and VJ at nightclubs and festivals and I love doing that too.
I live in Sydney though like Lachie I prefer Melbourne. I've never lived there but I will some day, I think. I love their culture of sharing and being relaxed, at home and just generally nice to each other which doesn't happen as much in Sydney. Where I work though, the people around me are like that too which makes my life so much easier.
I believe in doing things collaboratively - working as a group and sharing ideas (and being open and honest about how you feel) does wonders for making things work and work well. Working in isolation doesn't make a good product - it takes discussion and experimentation to make things the best they can be on the web.
I believe that you can make yourself happy by believing that you are. I believe in doing good things for people and being nice in as many ways as you can. I believe in making stuff that is as easy to use as it is to enjoy, and looks good too. And I believe that there are lots of other good people who feel the same way I do out there on the web, and many of them are here.
