I started out doing tech support and on to sysadmin, before someone offered me some cash to do a very simple page in PHP, and thought to myself, yeah this HTML stuff ain't so bad to do.
Well that simple page turned in a fairly large app, and I started to realise I enjoyed coding more than I thought, along with realising this HTML stuff isn't so simple (I have the average design skills of a coder... none!)
I started hearing about this 'Ruby on Rails' stuff about 2005/06, played around with it for a bit, and found what I didn't realise I was looking for
